My partner doesn’t feel comfortable in front of the camera?

If you or your partner don't feel confident in front of a camera, then some pre-wedding shots are definitily practical. I would recommend the pre-wedding shots, because it would help me to find the most preferable angles suited to you and your partner. You will also pick up some knowledge on how to behave in front of my camera, so it will not be a disturbance for you on the big day - this will be inclued in the price.

How would you describe your shooting styles?

My approach to wedding photography is contemporary and documentary style, which tells the whole story of your wedding day through candid and natural-looking photos. This will include the after wedding group pictures of your friends and family.

When do you typically start and finish taking pictures?

I typically start coverage shortly after make-up begins, with the bride/bridal party. if you require this service, if not, when i arrive at the church etc. Coverage usually ends shortly after the first dance, which will also be filmed and added to the slideslow.

We like your photos and the pricing is within our budget, so what are next steps?

We will have to meet in person for your free consultation, so we can get to know each other. I need to know the full scenario of your wedding day before I take on the assignment; basically this discussion is about your wedding plans. In order to secure the date, I will need you to sign a contract and pay a deposit.
Finally I will ask you to keep me updated about your plans via email. About 3-4 weeks before the date, we will meet again briefly to confirm all your plans and photoshoot location. I would also like to attend your wedding rehearsal, if you are having one.

How many photos will we receive? Will they be retouched?

I provide 300-400 images for a full-day wedding in Black/white and colour. Of course I will take many more shots throughout the day, but then I will filter out any images that are obviously unusable. All images then undergo post-production for adjustments such as colour, correction, exposure, straightening, cropping, etc.

Do you also provide black & white photos?

I will choose a selection of photos from the after wedding photo shoot to be provided in B&W which you will receive on the picture DVD.

How long does it take before we can see the pictures? Can we share the photos online with our family and friends?

I will send you a small group of preview photos within one week of the wedding date via email, and the remaining images will be delivered in approximately 2-4 weeks.

I will provide both a link to my website gallery and a DVD with high-resolution digital files. You can email the web gallery address to your friends and family directly so they can view some of your photos right away.

Can we print the photos ourselves? How do we order prints or albums?

I recommend that you and your family order hard-copy prints directly through the link I will provide.This ensures the highest quality, because each print order is printed in a lab that I have selected and trust. There are a wide range of albums available, so I would not like to discuss it here but the minimum cost for an album starts at £5.95 to £800 depending on what you want and how much you want to spend, The link is under wedding albums in the pricing section.

What information should we provide you before the day?

The more information that you can provide me in advance, the better:
  • A schedule or rundown of the day
  • List of after wedding group formal photos; this takes a lot of the stress away and is faster on the day, giving you more time to relax.
  • List of your ideas if you have some
  • A contact at the wedding venue so that I can arrange my own site visit
  • Anything else unique about your wedding
